Highland Offroad Quad Treks

Highland Offroad quad treks in Dunkeld are a great way to have fun in the great outdoors.  Your one-hour trek starts with an introduction to your quad, then the adventure starts on the vehicle assault course where you will tackle camel back humps, cobbles and steep hills, before moving into the forest where you can enjoy wide open tracks and narrow woodland trails.

With access to the beautiful countryside of Highland Perthshire, your quad trek will take you closer to nature and you are likely to see herds of deer, soaring birds of prey and endearing red squirrels on the way.

Quad trekking is great for families, and children over the age of 12 are welcome as long as they are accompanied by an adult. They are a great way to get your family outdoors without being near others.  We provide safety helmets and advise you to bring waterproofs, so the weather never gets in the way of enjoyment!

Land Rover Experience Scotland

Enjoy a fun-filled off-road driving adventure with Land Rover Experience Scotland. With expert help at hand you will have the opportunity to drive a latest model Land Rover through some of Highland Perthshire's most spectacular rugged off-road terrain spotting local wildlife along the way!

The Experience begins at the Land Rover Experience centre, Butterstone Loch. You will experience a warm welcome from the team before heading off with your expert instructor to the nursery slopes, assault course and forest tracks within Dunkeld Park. Choose from a half day or full day Experience, with the option to add lunch by the loch. Each experience is for up to 3 people, so bring a friend or two to share the fun.

Young Off-Roader driving experiences for 11-17 year olds
Butterstone Loch near Dunkeld

Let the kids take the driving seat! 11 to 17 year olds can learn to drive off-road on our specially designed driving assault course, and have fun tackling slopes, negotiating obstacles and driving through deep water. They will learn a lot, increase their knowledge and confidence and impress their friends!

Driving a dual-controlled Land Rover, they will be guided by an expert Land Rover instructor, who will teach them how to control the car, then guide them round the agility arena before moving on to tackle a range of obstacles and challenges.

Each Young Off-Roader experience lasts for one hour, plus travelling time from Butterstone to Dunkeld, and is for up to 2 junior drivers (each aged 11-17 and over 145cm tall). The package includes a personalised certificate, with plenty of selfie opportunities along the way!
