Make time to stand and stare

The Heart of Scotland is a truly special area, much loved by the people who call it home and the many visitors who make it their holiday destination each year.

Here at Heart 200 we invite you to visit this area, get to know it, and hopefully fall in love with its many delights.

We open up this invitation to visit the Heart of Scotland with one big overriding piece of advice – Take your time and get to know the area properly.

The poem, Leisure, by William Henry Davies, begins with the line:

“What is this life if, full of care,

We have no time to stand and stare?”

The poem is shown on our Home page to help you relax and slow down before you start planning your next adventure.

Whatever else you do when you visit the Heart 200, make sure you make time to stand and stare.
